In-Form Juggernauts Take on Struggling Red and Golds

It will be a tough match as an in-form Odisha FC takes on SC East Bengal tonight at Tilak Maidan stadium tonight. Odisha comes off a solid 3-1 win over Bengaluru FC in their last match while East Bengal is licking their wounds after a 3-0 Kolkata Derby defeat to their arch rivals ATK Mohun Bagan. The former will be looking to continue their winning form, and the latter to finally get that elusive win.
Odisha looked good in their first match, with a brace from Javi helping them dismantle Bengaluru. It is a team that looks much different from the last season’s side which finished bottom of the table. East Bengal meanwhile, had their weaknesses exposed by the lethal ATK Mohun Bagan.
Both coaches are looking for a win, with Odisha’s Kiko Ramirez saying that he is wary of this wounded East Bengal side and is prepared for a difficult match. Manuel Diaz, East Bengal’s coach, has promised a better showing. He wants the team to score more goals, and would be working on better team play and creating chances.
Odisha FC has an almost fully fit squad, and would not be missing any important players except Kamaljit Singh who had a collision in the last match. East Bengal will not be having the services of on of their most important players, Arindam Bhattacharya who was injured and had to be substituted. Diaz has informed that Suvam Sen will be starting between the sticks.
