The team from Kochi is keeping close tabs to land Odisha FC custodian Arshdeep Singh to the Yellow Army. The team is currently negotiating with Odisha FC to get the man to their team. The deal is not yet clear, It maybe a short term Loan Deal or a Complete Transfer. There will be more clarity in the coming days since negotiation is still going on and confirmation will be put up.
Arshdeep Singh is a 24 year old Goal Keeper who has decent experience in both ISL and I-League. He began his career at AIFF Elite Academy where he later went to to sign for Minerva Punjab FC. He has played in the I-League 2nd division with them and later made his mark in I-League. He has made 29 appearance for Minerva Punjab FC including four AFC Cup matches.
He was then picked up by Odisha FC where he debuted for them in 2019-20 season appearing 9 matches that season. He eventually got chances to show his quality in 2020-21 season despite with a leaky defence of Odisha FC. He has made a signature of himself showing impressive confidence and critical saves during tense moments of the match. But he is yet to start a match for Odisha FC in this season which makes him wanting to get more playing time where KBFC comes into picture. Kerala Blasters will surely benefit if this deal goes through eventually.
